I slept great last night. I got up early and started my walk on the freeway. Today was not a fun day. Walking on the freeway sucks. The scenery was beautiful, but trucks were a little too close for comfort. I was excited when I got to mile 21. On my map there was a frontage road, but it wasn’t accessible from the freeway. However, when I got there, there was a hole in the fence that allowed me access. I was able to have a relaxing walk my last three miles. When I crested a hill I saw an oasis, it was the Route 66 Casino and Hotel. After 24 miles I just to get a room, shower and sleep.
