So last night I am thinking about how I get back to Ludlow. I was not looking forward to hitchhiking again. I took a chance to see if I could locate Chancy and see if he was going back. I located the shop he mentioned he worked at. I called around 7:00 pm and someone answered the phone. I asked if Chancy was there. The person said, “No” and the he was his boss.
I explained why I was calling. The boss, Charlie said he would arrange for someone to pick me up, just call back in the morning.
I did and Charlie arranges for Al to come pick me up. I am here in Ludlow thanks to the help of Charlie and Al.
I am on my way to Needles. I will hopefully be there on Tuesday. I am looking forward walking through the desert.
