In Church

Sunday was a day off and it was a good day. I went to church with Bob and Martha at the first Baptist Church. I was fortunate to sit in a class with the men’s group on how to be a deacon. The church service highlighted the kids that attended Vacation Bible Study the previous week.

After the service a beautiful older woman came up to me that heard what I was doing. She grabbed my hand and put some currency in my hand. I told her it was not necessary. She said, “I want you to have this”. I put it in my pocket. When I got home later on, I pulled it out of my pocket. It was a $50.00 bill. Incredible.

After the service, Bob took me to lunch at the Wild West Junction. Bob introduced me to the owner, John Moore. He is also the mayor of Williams. Bob explained what I was doing. John bought me lunch.

Later that night, Martha’s sister, Debbie came over and made an incredible Mexican dinner.

The next days walk was from Williams to Bellmont. Bob was gracious enough to suggest that when I reached Bellmont, he will come pick me up again and bring me to the house. How could I refuse.

The walk to Bellmont was beautiful. A lot of the trip was on quiet dirt roads. I loved this walk.

I am at Bob and Martha’s home soaking my feet in epson salt. Trying to calm down two blisters. What is really helping is the Guinness Beer.
